I’m sorry it’s been so long! Two weeks is too long and I have no excuse. I have a lot to catch you guys up on so this will be a much longer update.
Last week in our lectures we talked about Intercession and worship which was amazing. I learned to step out of my comfort zone for God and serve Him with my actions in everything I do. I learned to be loud for God in worship too because He is worthy of all the praise we can give, and he is the king but also a friend so we should cheer Him! We also learned about the authority we have in prayer because He gave it to us to share with Him in agreement through the Holy Spirit.
Last week I was also having a problem with some sort of sickness, I’m still not sure what it is. I was feeling nauseous, dizzy and weak, bloated to the point of pain, cold, and tired all the time. It had been going on for about a week. We had a time of practicing prayer and intercession for each other in class and we were praying over everyone who needed prayer over their finances. It was my turn to be in the middle to receive prayer and Chloe, who knew how bad I was feeling, said they should pray for healing over me. They started to pray and soon the rest of he class joined our group (we had split into two groups for prayer). It was so powerful, my stomach started to feel strange, and the translator Chris asked me if I believed God would heal me. “Do you believe you are healed?” And I said yes. I yelled out yes, that I did believe, and right then and there, I was healed. I have had no problems since. My appetite has returned, I’m not tired or in pain all the time, no more nausea, and no more dizziness! Amen! Another of the students, Josiah, who was also sick, was healed that same day through prayer and intercession, so it was a powerful week!
We also did some fun stuff like watching Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe which was fun to see after a long time! I went to Hillsong with Ji Woo as well! And Josiah has decided to learn Korean so me and the Koreans are helping to teach him. He is learning to fast!
This week has been amazing as well. We had a speaker Moses, who came in from YWAM South Korea, and spoke on relationships. I learned a lot this week about not letting fear get in the way of me trying to reach out and have real and deep relationships with people. The only way to love people like Jesus did is to love recklessly.
Our DTS got to celebrate a birthday this week as well! On Wednesday we celebrated one of our students’ sons, Hangyeol’s, first birthday which was an amazing and fun experience. We all gathered at the family’s apartment and got to write a bible verse on a sticky note and he picked on out of a bowl to be specially spoken over his life!

I also have great news, I know where and with whom I’m going on outreach!! We had pictures taken this week so I can show you who is on team Africa and team Asia!

It was great to hear from Moses and to get the feeling of hearing the translated version of the message. Our speakers up to that point had spoken in English and had been translated to Korean so hearing it first in Korean and having it translated to English really challenged how much Korean I really understood.
I also had the opportunity to pray for the speaker this week in Korean! I was very nervous and stumbled a bit but I was very encouraged when Moses said I was the first foreigner to pray over him in Korean.
We also did an event called Open Airs this week on Friday where we went to the city and set up a microphone and speaker and let people from the base share testimonies or the gospel or sing songs, etc. it was a great time to evangelize and talk to people while also supporting and cheering on our fellow Christians. At the end of that time, our translator was still talking to someone so I said I could translate for everyone. Our school leader David spoke in Korean and I was able to translate for the first time into English for the group!

And lastly we took the train down to the beach on Saturday! It was a great day and we were able to walk around Frementle, go to the beac and swim at North Frementle, see the beautiful sunset, and God even was able to use me to minister to one woman and make her day just by taking pictures of her and an impromptu photo shoot!

Thank you so much for your patience on this update! I love you all so much and I won’t go this long without posting again.
Thank you for the prayers and support, I appreciate it so much! Hugs from Perth!
