So it’s been a few days since I posted so I’ll try to make this a bit more extensive to make up for it!
The first week has been jam packed and the lectures have been great. We talked about hearing God’s voice this week and how it takes getting to know Him and forming a two way relationship with consistency in order to get close to Him. I also learned that He is always wanting to speak to me and that all I have to do is meet Him and open up to what He has to say.
We had a new student come a few days ago and the last student is coming tonight so we are all very excited! I went to Hillsong again today with part of the group and heard a great sermon about how God can use our stories to impact other people and that we don’t need to be afraid or ashamed! God has spoken a lot to me this week and I can’t wait to see what the following weeks bring.
We’re going to the beach next weekend which I’m very excited about and we’re making plans to all go to an amusement park too!
We also started our daily work on base which for us is dinner dishes and it was a blast to clean and listen to music together, all working together to help the base! I’ve also been given the responsibility of locking up the kitchen every weekday which is a huge opportunity and honor!
